Join our talk with the highly acclaimed Dr Joseph Poore, who is is currently building the HESTIA platform as part of the Oxford Martin Programme on Food Sustainability. HESTIA provides data and models that allow us to better understand the environmental impacts of different agricultural products and production practices. Valentina Caldert, another team member at HESTIA, will be joining him.

En‑ROADS is a global climate simulator that allows users to explore the impact that dozens of policies—such as electrifying transport, pricing carbon, and improving agricultural practices—have on hundreds of factors like energy prices, temperature, air quality, and sea level rise.

At this event, we will present the findings of two Research Grantees who have been undertaking climate change field research projects in Pakistan for The Borrowed Earth Project –www.borrowedearthproject.com – a small not for profit which works to encourage young people in their efforts to tackle climate change and biodiversity.
