Joseph is Director of the Oxford Martin Programme on Food Sustainability. His research seeks to increase our understanding of the environmental impacts of agriculture and create solutions to mitigate these impacts. His has created one of the most widely use datasets describing the environmental impacts of food products. He is currently building the HESTIA platform which provides data and models that allow us to better understand the environmental impacts of different agricultural products and production practices. His part of the training session will focus broadly on the climate and other environmental impacts of agricultural products and explore how we can reduce them.
